Celebrating 2 decades of growth in Europe.

INTRODUCTION

In 2004, Protech Chemicals Ltd. acquired Oxyplast Belgium, a little player in the powder coating industry with international ties. After two decades, our European plants have grown significantly, and our production and presence have established us as a leading force in the European powder coating market.

STEPPING INTO THE 1920s

Our Belgian team celebrated in style, dressed in 1920s-inspired attires with authentic décor and two lively burlesque dancers. A vintage photo booth with themed props was a great hit and entertained everyone throughout the night.

HIGHLIGHTS

Our CEO, David Ades, delivered a heartfelt speech that revisited the milestones and achievements since the acquisition. He expressed his gratitude to all employees for their dedication, which has powered our journey forward.

Guests then enjoyed various unique dishes, each crafted to offer a rich palette of flavors. A tombola delighted us with exciting prizes, including a grand prize for our big winner, Cathy Cuylits! After the meal, attendees tried their hand at the 1920s-style dance, making it a memorable evening from start to finish.

HONORING DEDICATION

David Ades honored the employees with more than 25 years of seniority. Each person was honored with a plaque, a bonus, and a beautiful bouquet, a gesture celebrating their exceptional commitment and contributions.

REFLECTING ON 20 YEARS OF GROWTH

The Protech Group has significantly grown in the past twenty years. Let us highlight the milestones in Europe and appreciate our growth. There have been four acquisitions:

• 2006: Flanders Powder Belgium relocated to the Ghentian plant, doubling our production size.
• 2006: Ekopowder Czech Republic, increasing our reach in Europe.
• 2013: Promal’s powder coating distribution with a resolute sales team.
• 2020: ACG Powder Coatings from Frances also relocated to the Ghentian plant, increasing the production size even more.

BRIGHTER FUTURE

Thanks to the growth over the past years and the growing interest in our powder coatings, we are doubling our production in the Czech Republic. As of 2025, we can produce 15.000 tons in Europe! Moreover, we are also on track to obtain an ISO 14001 certificate, reflecting our commitment to environmental standards and sustainable practices.
