UV Cure Powder Coating for MDF and Wooden Cabinets
Overview

Instant Cure. No Heat Damage.

One of the most significant recent advancements in powder coatings is the emergence of UV (ultra-violet) curable powders. NUVOCOAT represents a line of ultra-low-temperature cure powder coating systems designed explicitly for heat-sensitive substrates. These substrates include wood and wood composites, plastics, metal alloys, pre-assembled metals, and delicate components. NUVOCOAT UV powder coatings provide an excellent solution for these materials.

The main benefit of UV powder coatings is their lower processing temperatures (110-135°C) versus conventional powders (177-204°C). They cure quickly under UV light, enhancing energy efficiency. These coatings combine the advantages of traditional powder and radiation-curable liquid coatings, resulting in a highly durable finish resistant to scratches, chemicals, and graffiti, with no VOC emissions.
