Anti-skid, anti-slip, and non-slip are often used interchangeably to describe the same coating performance. The Protech Group anti-slip coatings are specialized, performance-focused coatings designed to create a non-slip surface that prevents slip-related accidents. This makes them ideal for use where enhanced slip safety, such as on stairs, decks, and walkways, is critical. But they are also applicable to a wide range of applications that require anti-skid performance, such as gym equipment.

They feature a distinct, textured, matte sandtex surface finish, which provides a high coefficient of friction (COF) greater than 0.3, resulting in excellent traction. Skid resistance has been evaluated using the inclined plane method in accordance with ASTM D4518 standards. The coating exhibits exceptional wear and rub resistance, as well as good outdoor durability.
