In 2004, Protech Chemicals Ltd. acquired Oxyplast Belgium, a modest player in the powder coating industry with international ties. After two decades, our European plants have grown significantly, and our production and presence have established us as a leading force in the European market. This journey has firmly established our expertise in the coating industry.
Our Belgian team celebrated in style, dressed in 1920s-inspired attires with authentic décor and two lively burlesque dancers. For those new to our work, these celebrations also highlighted the creative and colorful culture behind our focus on Powder Coatings. A vintage photo booth with themed props was a great hit and entertained everyone throughout the night.
Our CEO, David Ades, delivered a heartfelt speech that revisited the milestones and achievements since the acquisition. He expressed his gratitude to all employees for their dedication, which has powered our journey forward in the world of Powder Coatings.
Guests then enjoyed various unique dishes, each crafted to offer a rich palette of flavors. A tombola delighted us with exciting prizes, including a grand prize for our big winner, Cathy Cuylits! After the meal, attendees tried their hand at the 1920s-style dance, making it a memorable evening from start to finish, much like our memorable innovations in Powder Coatings.
David Ades honored the employees with more than 25 years of seniority. These dedicated team members have supported the company as we advanced and expanded our Powder Coatings expertise. Each person was honored with a plaque, a bonus, and a beautiful bouquet, a gesture celebrating their exceptional commitment and contributions.
