Z-SERIES^™

Z-series is Protech’s Super Durable powder coatings, meeting AAMA 2604 and Qualicoat Class II standards. Highly weather-resistant, these powders are suitable for various exterior and architectural uses and are available in numerous colors, glosses, and textures. Additionally, Z-series powders are VOC-free and environmentally friendly. Protech flexible, super-durable polyester powder coatings show significantly improved exterior performance compared to standard TGIC-free polyesters.

This is reflected in the color and gloss retention figures after 5 years of Florida sun testing. Z-series coatings can be formulated with antimicrobial properties, making them ideal for high-contact surfaces in hygiene-critical environments, such as hospitals, schools, and food preparation areas. They protect against physical wear and enhance cleanliness and safety.

The coating must be applied and cured by a certified Applicator, in accordance with Protech’s Data Sheets and application guidelines. The cured film will meet or exceed color, gloss, and chalking standards as defined in AAMA 2604 and will maintain film integrity for 25 years after installation of the coated aluminum products, under a limited warranty.
