FUNCTIONAL EPOXY

The Protech Group’s EF-SERIES offers an exceptional coating solution designed for high corrosion and chemical resistance needs. These powders can serve as a single-coat protective application or function as the base coat in a three-coat system. EF-SERIES powders are formulated to provide a flexible yet highly durable finish. These epoxy powders have also proven to provide superior adhesion properties and superior resistance to delamination and cathodic disbandment.

EF-SERIES complies with ASTM 775-86 and ASTM 775-89 and has received approval from the U.S. Federal Highway Administration for use as a protective coating on shotblasted reinforcing bars. This series is also an excellent choice for metal packaging in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical, and food sectors. The powders are entirely impermeable, ensuring that the metal packaging does not interact with its contents. EF-SERIES coatings are 360° powders, allowing for uniform application across the entire inner surface of the substrate. These inert powders meet the standards set by global regulatory bodies, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and exhibit outstanding abrasion and chemical resistance.
