HD-KOTE (Heavy Duty) is a polyester-based one-coat thermoset powder coating system engineered for superior corrosion and UV resistance. Its compatibility with standard pretreatment enhances production efficiency and lowers costs. HD-KOTE is also available in low-bake technology, reducing curing temperatures and energy consumption, further improving efficiency and supporting more sustainable, cost-efficient manufacturing.

Protech Group’s Heavy-Duty (.HD) powder coating range enhances the corrosion resistance of polyester powder coatings by up to 25%, providing extra corrosion protection when needed. It is ideal for situations in which an standard pretreatment and topcoat system fall short, but a 2-layer system is unnecessary or too costly. HD-KOTE offers a cost-effective one-coat solution that simplifies the process while maintaining long-term durability.
