Functional thermoplastic coatings for water pipes and fittings

Coatings for functional parts and components normally need to fulfill very stringent requirements. High acid content in soils and weathering factors create the ideal environment for corrosion. Also, the coating itself is exposed to extreme mechanical stress on a constant basis.

WATERARMOR™ is formulated with functionalized polyethylene copolymer that is controlled, tested and certified for marine or water infrastructure. It can be applied by fluidized bed, electrostatic spray, flame spray, or extrusion.
